As a regional Gemological Resource; Midwest Gem Lab, is dedicated to maintaining the integrity of the jewelry industry, our reporting process, and the interests of the consumer through continuing scientific research, education, groundbreaking resourcefulness and outstanding service.

Midwest Gem Lab; is a Gemological laboratory & Jewelry Appraisal service focused purely on the requirements and goals of our customers. Our philosophy is based on a simple set of principles:

Our personnel are our strength. We employ highly-educated and skilled Graduate Gemologists to provide our clientele with the utmost attention, and dedication. We care for and about our workforce and train them to keep apprised of advancements in the jewelry industry. Each employee is empowered to make decisions.

We practice a relatively transparent business model, keeping our customers fully informed through the entire Gemological evaluation and or Jewelry Appraisal process and ensure that they understand the process and the reached conclusions. We strive for long-term relationships with each and every customer.

We see the world of Gemology through an advanced tech-savvy lens, this way, we can provide our customers with cutting edge, impressive, and useful services.
